Modified Style- Transformed Fashion Show...

Modified Style is a semi-annual fashion show/fundraiser. This fashionshow is a DIY benefit put on by two local ladies-Andrea Fretwell and Janessa Philemon-Kerp. This bi-city event takes place in Seattle and Portland each year at the Secret Society Ballroom.

The Farm Sanctuary, Sisters of the Road, & Junior Achievement.

Stephanie Ortmann of Fox 12 to Emcee!!! DeeJay BELO and The Manimals to perform!

Saturday night was the Strut Fashion Show...

STRUT is all about glamour, style, and an over-the-top celebration of our community’s talents, while at the same time supporting the work of the largest organization working to end discrimination based upon sexual orientation and gender identity in Oregon.
Over the past 4 years, STRUT has featured some of the best of Portland’s designers, including “Leanimal” (the winner of Bravo’s “Project Runway” series in 2008).

In the midst of a fashion test shoot, I noticed out of the corner of my eye this family walking our way and thought- I'll ask if I can take their photo. They say ok and handed me some info on their cause...
