Went to an art exhibit of Maori art at the Pacific Center today. The second photo is of a Maori, the native people of New Zealand. His full face tatoo is called a moko. Monday night we are going to watch the fireworks show set off in Oriental Bay just down the street. Fireworks now? It's Guy Fawkes celebration here. The 6-14th is the International Jazz festival. www.jazzfestival.co.nz Friday night I went to see Hollie Smith live at St James Theater- www.holliesmith.co.nz She put on a great show, Diana Krall, Nora Jones, look out...
