I toured the beautiful Arts & Crafts style "Gamble House", Pasadena... designed by Charles and Henry Greene in 1908. An exquisit masterpiece.

Artist. This guy has lived in his van for the last 7 years along the Santa Barbara beach...

This guy's picking up some change, clever way to make a buck... sign says "Just Plain Hungry", "Make A Wish"...

What a year! ...travels took me to New Zealand for eight months then on to Australia for two months and Bali for a couple weeks. Stay tune for book release dates details and further travels.

It's never too late to discover new things in life and live out your largest, wildest dreams. A dream of mine has been to produce a book on my photography and my traveling experiences. "New Zealand Discovered" is one book that I've set out to produce, ...to tell a story to the world of New Zealand through my photographs. I've been a professional photographer for many years. I love my job and am constantly amazed at the beauty around every corner of the great world on which we live. The natural beauty in New Zealand is hard to beat and my desire is to share it with you!

Resided in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, located at the southern tip of the north island. Centrally located from the north and south island, it's the perfect jump off place to get around. Traveling to the north and south islands extensively, photographing the land, it's beauty, texture, culture and all that there is to discover here. New Zealand is truly an amazing country, a photographers dream.

Since my father, a photographer himself, gave me my first camera when I was just a child, my passion for photography has escalated. My mother was quite an artist in her own time as well. I was very curious to watch on as she hand tinted black & white photos with oil colors. Guess you could say "I had it in my blood"... to want to be an artist when I grew up! That was then... today the tools I'm using will become obsolete soon- Canon 10.1mp EOS, Mac G4, Wacom tablet and pen, ...they are rarely far from my side.

Being creative in the explosion of new media, ...amazing things can happen. Life, what a ride... loving it and that's what matters most.

BACKGROUND:

1978 to 2003- Art Director and Broadcast Designer. I worked for all three of the local affiliate television stations in Portland, Oregon. KGW-nbc, KATU-abc, KOIN-cbs. Previously attended SFCC, worked at KREM and KXLY in Spokane.

1992- founded Motion Design Studio, an independent multifunctional creative design firm specializing in media- web design, advertising, photography, print, branding, broadcast, marketing. We've built a service to our customer base, and continue to form strong relationships for our customers.

2007- Creative Tile Design- Full service tile & installation business specializing in home, office, kitchen, bath, fireplace, walls and floors... We install all types of tile, stone, rock, granite, glass block, glass tile... We also custom design, create and layout projects for all your needs... Beautiful designs to suite the lifestyle you live...
